All veterans and family members are welcome to attend. This is a great and unique opportunity for eligible veterans and their dependents to be assisted by a team that includes Veteran's Organization Service Officers, Department of Veteran Affairs Benefit Officials and Healthcare Representatives.

About The Event
These representatives can help facilitate and Expedite your new or existing VA disability claims, appeals, or other healthcare problems.
We will accept New Claims from the newly enacted Pact Act legislation, however claims will not be adjudicated until after January 2023

You must come prepared with the proper documentation about your case: DD214, ALL medical records about you disability both military and civilian.
Everyone who registers during the day will be seen. To avoid overcrowding, please adhere to the following attendance suggestions. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Thursday, November 17, those who have the last two digits of their Social Security number ending 00-33 should register.
- Friday, November 18, those who have the last two digits of their Social Security number ending 34-66 should register.
- Saturday, November 19, those who have the last two digits of their Social Security number ending 67-99 should register.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Winston-Salem Regional Office is holding a Veterans Benefits Live, VA in My Town in Wilmington, North Carolina on November 17th and 18th from 9am until 3pm and November 19th from 9am until 2pm to provide face-to-face assistance with VA claims and information on VA operations.
Representatives from Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) will be on hand to help veterans file claims, address questions for current claims, and learn more about VA benefits including Veteran Readiness & Employment, education, home loans, insurance, and burial benefits.
Vet Center counselors will be onsite to assist with bereavement, military sexual trauma, substance abuse, and mental health screening.
Veterans will be assisted in order of arrival during event.
